Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, to Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, and sincerely wished the country and its people prosperity and every success.

“I am particularly pleased about the close partnership between our countries, as well as the political, cultural and economic cooperation and growing people-to-people contacts. There are no doubts that the friendly relations between our countries will continue the upward trend for the benefit of our citizens”, said Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis.

The Head of Government has emphasized that the forthcoming 6th Summit of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries in Budapest, scheduled for late November, will provide excellent opportunities for sharing views and insights on bilateral and international policy issues and continue to engage in a comprehensive dialogue.
