Prime Minister extends greetings on the occasion of Passover
Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas extends his greetings to the Jewish community of Lithuania and to Jews around the world on the religious holiday of Passover.
"The celebration of Pesach, cherished and unifying for so many people around the world, symbolizes hope, faith, and the determination to overcome even the greatest hardships. Its story of the journey from slavery to liberation and the Promised Land is a hopeful tale of the triumph of freedom – one that continues to speak meaningfully to us today.
I sincerely greet the Jewish community of Lithuania, whose historical and present-day contributions to the building and strengthening of our country are deeply valued, as well as Jews around the world. May the festive Seder dinner be filled with the joy of togetherness, and may peace and serenity dwell in your homes and hearts.
Chag Pesach Sameach – Happy Passover!” the greeting from Prime Minister G. Paluckas reads.
