Prime Minister extends greetings to Bulgaria on the Independence Day

On behalf of the people and the Government of Lithuania, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis extends sincere greetings to Bulgaria on the Independence Day.

‘Appreciating good relations between our states, I am certain that mutual support and understanding as well as joint efforts will help the partnership between Lithuania and Bulgaria continue to progress in the most cooperative and friendly spirit. I am pleased to take this opportunity to express Lithuania’s high appreciation of the friendly relations with Bulgaria as a reliable partner in the European Union and NATO,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has hit countries hard and has tested resilience of health systems, strength of economies, and solidarity among individuals and states, the Head of the Government has expressed his conviction that innovative solutions of national governments will allow them address the challenges of the pandemic, and that everybody will emerge stronger from the crisis.
