Prime Minister extends greetings to Estonia on Independence Day

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis extends sincere greetings to Estonia on the occasion Independence Day.  

“Lithuania and Estonia are bound together by ties of common memory, shared interests and strong commitment to the European and Transatlantic unity. We know that our prosperity, our security, and our future are intertwined with yours. I firmly believe that the effective partnership based on mutual values and understanding will continue to serve as a strong foundation for our sisterly Baltic nations in the years to come. I would also like to thank you for the successful start of the Estonian chairmanship of the Baltic Council of Ministers this year. The Lithuanian Government is committed to working jointly with you in the ongoing deliberations on our Baltic agenda”, reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
