Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius expressed his condolences to France’s Prime Minister Manuel Valls, to the people of France and other countries over the terrorist attacks in Paris that brutally took lives of innocent civilians and left many injured.
"I express my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, to the people of France and other countries affected by this heart-breaking tragedy. I wish you strength and resolve in this difficult hour of bereavement, - says the Head of Government in the letter of condolences.
The Prime Minister strongly condemned the acts of terror, as no political objectives whatsoever can be justified on the grounds of terrorism. “We stand together with France in this difficult hour of loss. It is a challenge to humanity and democratic values in the world”, says the Prime Minister.
