Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has sent his greetings to Prime Minister Miro Cerar and the people of Slovenia on the occasion of the Statehood Day.

“May I note the excellent bilateral relations between Lithuania and Slovenia. We are pleased to have recently had an opportunity to welcome your country’s President. I very much hope that our cooperation and shared values will continue to guide us towards our goals on the bilateral as well as the European and the transatlantic agendas”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

The Prime Minister concludes his letter by wishing all the people of Slovenia happy celebrations and every success in the future.

The 25th of June is Slovenia’s Statehood Day marking Slovenia’s independence from Yugoslavia back in 1991.
