Prime Minister‘s greetings to the Netherlands on the National Day

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended sincere congratulations to Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, and the people of the country on the occasion of the King’s Day.

“It is with delight that I note our good relations marked by the longstanding friendly cooperation on the bilateral, European as well as the international levels. I have no doubts that the further collaboration between Lithuania and the Netherlands will successfully continue in the spirit of mutual understanding and trust. I believe that the relationship shared by our countries will contribute to addressing challenges we face today and that we will remain committed to our common values”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

The Prime Minister has noted that the Netherlands is Lithuania’s important partner in strengthening and maintaining international peace and security, democracy and prosperity in Europe and beyond its borders.

The Head of Government has wished all the people of the Netherlands every success and prosperity in the future.
