Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis extends greetings to Estonia’s Prime Minister on Independence Day

On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended Independence Day greetings to Estonia’s Prime Minister Jüri Ratas.

The Prime Minister has noted the long-lasting ties between the nations building on the principles of solid partnership.

‘For many years now, Estonia and Lithuania have enjoyed being not only sisterly nations and closest neighbours but also one of the strongest allies and partners in the region and in developing our cooperation in the EU, NATO, as well as other regional and global formats, especially the Baltic Council of Ministers. I am certain of our continued unity, close dialogue and mutual support in shaping our common positions and making joint efforts for a peaceful and secure future of our nations’, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

The Prime Minister has expressed his wishes to the Estonian Prime Minister and all the people for success and prosperity.
