Prime Minister Congratulates Armenia on Independence Day
Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius, on behalf of the Government, extended his sincere congratulations to Armenia and its people on Independence Day.
“This year, Lithuania and Armenia mark the 35th anniversary of the diplomatic relations. Over these years, our countries have developed a close and steadily growing partnership, and Lithuania remains committed to further strengthening our bilateral cooperation.
We greatly value Armenia’s efforts to advance democratic reforms and deepen its partnership with the European Union. We welcome the progress in EU-Armenia relations, as well as the steps to advance peace and stability in the South Caucasus. These developments contribute to greater stability and security in the region and beyond, while creating new opportunities for cooperation and prosperity. Lithuania stands ready to continue supporting Armenia's closer ties with the European Union and efforts to foster a more peaceful, stable and prosperous region,” the Prime Minister said in his message of congratulations.
