Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas resigns from office
The Head of Government Gintautas Paluckas has made a decision to step down as Prime Minister. The formal procedure for this decision will be initiated in the near future.
“I would like to sincerely thank the people of Lithuania, the Government team, our social partners, and everyone I have had the privilege of working with. Despite considerable challenges, we have been able to work effectively together, finding common ground on key issues and implementing initiatives that have benefited the country and its citizens. I have no doubt this important work will continue successfully in the future,“ says Gintautas Paluckas.
