Greetings of the Head of the Government to Austria celebrating its National Day
On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has sent a message of greetings to Austria on its National Day.
‘As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our diplomatic relations, I have no doubt that our states will continue working together to bolster our economic, cultural, political, and scientific cooperation bilaterally and within the European Union.
At a time when the very foundations of the European and global security order are being shaken, our solidarity and joint efforts in protecting democratic values and principles of the rule of law are more important than ever. Our solidarity and steadfast support for Ukraine and its people, as they strive to prevail against Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression, are essential,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
