Head of Government extends greetings to Slovakia on the occasion of the Constitution Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has extended sincere greetings to Slovakia on the occasion of the Constitution Day and wishes its people every success and prosperity.
‘I am delighted to note our strong bilateral ties and effective partnership within the EU and NATO. I am certain that the ever-growing friendly relations between Lithuania and the Slovak Republic will continue to open new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
We highly value Slovakia’s contribution to the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup in Lithuania as a strong sign of solidarity which strengthens the security in our region and the whole of Europe.
As Ukraine heroically continues keeping the frontline of its own freedom and the global security order, our unity and joint support efforts are crucial in withstanding and stopping this unjustified Russian aggression, as well as in not letting global community get used to the flames of war on the European soil. I believe that by acting together, we will not only help to overcome the evil we face today but will also strengthen the values of freedom and democracy’, reads Prime Minister’s letter.
