Head of Government sends greetings to Estonia on the Independence Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings to Estonia celebrating their Independence Day along with the best wishes for continued resilience, prosperity and well-being to the people of Estonia.
‘I would like to convey my sincere congratulations and the congratulations of the Lithuanian people on the occasion of the 105th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Estonia.
Estonia’s courage and leadership in defending freedom and democracy in Ukraine, Eastern Europe and beyond inspire many and make an important contribution to the security of Europe and to the rules-based international order.
The celebration of Estonia’s Independence is undoubtedly a special day for Lithuanians as well.
Our nations are bound together by each other’s successes, and by our shared values and strategic interests.
I am sure that we will continue working together in strengthening the friendship between our nations, in helping Ukraine to achieve victory, and in advancing the ideals of freedom and democracy in Europe and across the world,’ reads Prime Minister's message of greetings.
