Lithuania to Hand Over Power Generators to Moldova Facing an Energy Crisis
Responding to Moldova's request for international assistance, the Lithuanian government on Wednesday approved the provision of assistance to the country, which is facing major challenges in the energy sector, with Russia using energy blackmail to destabilise the country.
According to a decision approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, Lithuania will transfer nine power generators to Moldova.
The donation of generators is made in response to a targeted appeal for electricity generation equipment from Moldova International Assistance. The total value of the assistance is EUR 68 176.
