Acting Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has met with Michał Dworczyk, Chief of Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, who, while on his visit to Vilnius, has conveyed personal thanks by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki for the cooperation with the Government of Saulius Skvernelis.

During the meeting, Skvernelis has emphasised that bilateral relations have become the best in several decades due to the work done by the Presidents and Governments of both countries.

‘Over the past few years, cooperation between Lithuania and Poland has strengthened in all areas without exception, opening up new opportunities for our countries, people, and the region. We must foster the unity of our countries, because only by listening, communicating, and working closely together will we be able to create a secure and prosperous future for our people and the region,’ said Skvernelis.

The Acting Head of Government has also thanked Morawiecki and Dworczyk for their personal contribution to improving relations, and stated that the strategic partnership between the two nations must be further consolidated.
