Prime Minister Congratulated the New Government of Montenegro
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė congratulated Milojko Spajic on his appointment as Prime Minister on the formation of the new Government.
‘My Government will continue to support Montenegro on its path to the European Union. Your country’s membership in the European Union will strengthen the EU itself and will lead to prosperity and security of the entire Western Balkans region,’ – states the greeting by Prime Minister I. Šimonytė
The Head of the Government reminded the importance of close cooperation between democratic countries during Russia’s war against Ukraine and its global offensive against democracies.
Prime Minister I. Šimonytė also expressed an expectation to strengthen friendship and the bilateral ties between Lithuania and Montenegro.
