Prime Minister Congratulates Estonia on Restoration of Independence Day
Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius, on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Lithuania, extended his sincere congratulations to Estonia on the occasion of Restoration of Independence Day.
“Lithuanians and Estonians are united by history, shared values, and a steadfast commitment to freedom and independence. Our common experience of restoring and safeguarding our sovereignty has forged a strong bond between our nations. Today, Lithuania and Estonia stand side by side as close neighbours, Allies, and partners in the European Union, NATO, and regional and international formats.
Our close cooperation is particularly important in strengthening the security and resilience of the Baltic region. We highly value Estonia's contribution to regional cooperation and look forward to continuing our joint efforts to enhance our defence, improve connectivity, and support Ukraine and its European future.
I am confident that our close cooperation will continue to reinforce the unity, security, and prosperity of the Baltic region and contribute to a stronger and more resilient Europe,“ the Prime Minister said in his congratulatory message.
