Prime Minister congratulates the new Government of Israel
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has congratulated Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett and alternate Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid on the formation of the new Government of Israel.
‘On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, let me warmly congratulate you on the formation of the new Government of Israel. I look forward to us working together to further strengthen the existing friendship between our nations, and develop all aspects of our enduring and special relationship. My Government remains committed to working with the new Government of Israel in advancing stability, security, and peace throughout your region and beyond,’ reads Prime Minister Šimonytė’s letter.
The Head of Government has expressed her hope of meeting in person as soon as conditions allow.
Prime Minister Šimonytė has wished the people of Israel continuous security and well-being.
