Prime Minister extends condolences over the tragedy in Israel
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has extended condolences over the tragedy at Mount Meron during the festival in Israel.
‘I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the terrible tragedy at Mount Meron during the festival of Lag BaOmer. Our thoughts today are with the people of Israel. On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, let me extend our sincere condolences to the families and the loved ones of the victims, and to the people of Israel. We wish a speedy recovery for those wounded,’ reads the Prime Minister’s condolence letter.
