Prime Minister extends congratulations to the new Head of Government of Romania
On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has conveyed sincere congratulations to Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă on his appointment as Prime Minister of Romania.
‘Let me assure you that the Government of Lithuania is ready to continue to work with you, strengthening the bilateral ties between Lithuania and Romania and our successful partnership within the European Union and NATO. In the context of complex challenges that the European Union faces today, close cooperation between the Member States acquires special relevance. I am looking forward to proceeding with our joint efforts towards a safe, prosperous, and future-oriented Europe and our Neighbourhood,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
