‘This occasion reminds us about the great value of friendship and freedom of our people and our nations. It also reminds us of a long-lasting relationship between the United States of America and Lithuania that is reinforced by a sizeable and vibrant Lithuanian American community. These ties are strengthened every day by steps, small and big, that we take in the realms of political dialogue, security and defense, energy and economic cooperation, and many more,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
The Head of Government has thanked the United States for its unwavering support for Lithuania’s plight for freedom.
