Prime Minister extends greetings to Estonia on its Independence Day

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas extends sincere greetings to the people of Estonia on the occasion of the Independence Day and wishes the country success, peace, and prosperity.

'The unity of our nations has always been our strength. Today, as we face unprecedented geopolitical challenges, this unity is more crucial than ever. Our shared history of striving for freedom has taught us its true value, and we stand unwaveringly with Ukraine as it fights for its own freedom—and ours.

I am confident that our close cooperation and mutual support will continue to shape our shared positions and joint efforts for regional security and prosperity. Key priorities remain—supporting Ukraine, strengthening the rules-based international order, and enhancing our resilience. A major milestone has already been achieved: the Baltic countries have disconnected from the Russian electricity grid and fully integrated into the continental European network, reinforcing our energy independence and security,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.

In his greetings, Prime Minister also stated that together, we must continue strengthening our defense, reinforcing NATO, and deepening the transatlantic bond—pillars of our security and prosperity.
