Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė extends her sincere greetings to Georgia on the 103rd anniversary of the Democratic Republic and wishes the country continued success.

‘Adopted back in 1918, the Act of Independence of Georgia outlined the principles of democracy, human rights, and freedom – the same principles upon which the people of Georgia aim to strengthen their country’s independence today. I am convinced that Georgia will enhance these values as it moves forward on the path of reforms and Euro-Atlantic integration. Lithuania will continue to stand firm in supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic path, and make every endeavour to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation and the relations between our people,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
