Prime Minister extends greetings to Italy on the Republic Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė extends greetings to the people of Italy on the Republic Day.
‘I highly value the friendship between our countries and close cooperation in the EU, NATO, and other international organisations. Italy’s contribution to the Air Policing Mission and to NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic states is very important in strengthening the security of our region and beyond. I firmly believe that our two countries will continue to work closely together in strengthening the European Union, security of the Euro-Atlantic area, and friendly bonds between our people,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
