Prime Minister extends greetings to Korea on National Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, to Korea on its National Liberation Day.
‘Lithuania greatly values the friendly relations between our countries, based on our shared values of freedom, openness, and inclusivity. Our cooperation yields mutual benefits for our two nations and their people. I am enthusiastic about further enhancing the friendly dialogue and successful economic cooperation between our countries in the coming years, particularly in the exploration of more possibilities for cooperation in innovations and high-tech.
Lithuania places a high priority on enhancing ties with Korea and other nations in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly in the economic sphere and with a distinct emphasis on high value-added sectors. The cooperation between the like-minded countries in the face of the current challenges for the rules-based international order is of utmost importance,’ reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
