Prime Minister Extends Greetings to Kosovo on its Independence Day
On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has sent a message of greetings to the Republic of Kosovo and the best wishes for every success and prosperity.
“I avail myself of this opportunity to express my delight in our ever-closer bilateral relationship, which continues to strengthen every year. Let me assure you that Lithuania strongly supports Kosovo's independence, sovereignty, and European aspirations.
Over the past year, Kosovo has made significant progress on the path of European integration. l am confident that the Government of Kosovo will continue pursuing reforms that lead towards a secure, prosperous, and democratic state and the well-being of its citizens.
l am sure that Lithuania and Kosovo will carry on joint efforts in helping Ukraine win the war against Russia's aggression, and in enhancing democratic values, and peace around the world, while keeping the rules-based international order,” said the Head of the Government in her greetings.
