Prime Minister Extends Greetings to the Czech Republic on Its Independence Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has conveyed sincere greetings on behalf of the government to the Czech Republic in celebration of its Independence Day.
“I highly appreciate the friendship and ever closer cooperation between our countries, especially in strengthening the rules-based international order and democratic values in the EU neighbourhood and across the globe. I have no doubt that our states will continue working together to bolster this cooperation and our friendship.
Lithuania highly values the Czech Republic’s contribution to the Air Policing Mission and to NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic states. We are looking forward to working together to further reinforce the eastern part of the Alliance and to help Ukraine win as it fights against Russia’s aggression. It is as important as ever for the EU and NATO to remain united and help Ukraine with maximum efforts in defending not only its territory but also our shared values of freedom and democracy,” – states the message from the Head of the Government.
