Prime Minister greets Korea on National Liberation Day
Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius has extended his sincere greetings to the Republic of Korea on the occasion of its National Liberation Day.
“Lithuania highly values the close and friendly ties between our countries and regards the Republic of Korea an important and trusted partner in the Indo-Pacific region.
I am confident that, under your leadership, our bilateral relations will continue to grow, building on our shared commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and a rules-based international order.
Lithuania welcomes the further deepening of the EU-Republic of Korea strategic partnership and the new opportunities it creates for cooperation in trade and investment, security and defence, digital technologies, research, and innovation.
We look forward to further strengthening our bilateral ties, particularly in high value-added and technology sectors.
In an increasingly complex international environment, Lithuania and the Republic of Korea have much to gain by working closely together for the sake of peace, security, stability, and sustainable development,” reads the Prime Minister’s letter of greetings.
