Prime Minister greets Micheál Martin on his appointment as the Taoiseach of Ireland
Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas has extended greetings to Micheál Martin on his appointment as the Taoiseach of Ireland, wishing him every success in executing the very important and responsible duties.

Let me reaffirm Lithuania's commitment to further enhancing our bilateral ties and advancing our joint efforts to tackle emerging geopolitical challenges, ensuring a secure and prosperous Europe for us all’, reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
Prime Minister Paluckas noted that the Lithuanian diaspora in Ireland has become a significant and enduring bond between two nations, and expressed his belief that Lithuania and Ireland will continue to deepen their friendship and cooperation for the benefit of both countries, their citizens, and Europe as a whole.
‘Our unity in standing with Ukraine and its people as they defend their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Europe's freedom is vital as we strive for lasting peace and a resilient Europe that remains strong and secure. Both of our nations share a deep respect for human rights and the rule of law, principles that are fundamental to our shared vision of a peaceful and prosperous future’, said Prime Minister Paluckas.
