Prime Minister pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
On Monday, September 12, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė signed a book of condolences in honour of Queen Elizabeth II at the Embassy of the United Kingdom.
‘Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will live on in our memory and history as an example of extraordinary commitment to her country and its people, and of rallying leadership. On behalf of the Government and people of Lithuania, I extend my sincere condolences to the Royal Family and all the people of the United Kingdom. I believe that the ideals embodied by Queen Elizabeth II will remain an aspiration to all of us’, said Prime Minister Šimonytė.
