Prime Minister sends greetings to new Czech Prime Minister
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė has extended her greetings to new Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and his Cabinet as they began their term in office.
‘Lithuania remains committed to maintaining and deepening a constructive dialogue with your Government and continuing our cooperation within the European Union and NATO.
Lithuania is grateful for, and highly values, the Czech Republic’s contribution to Lithuania’s security, including the participation of your troops in the NATO Baltic Air Policing mission and the Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP). Only by standing united as NATO Allies and EU Member States can we be strong.
In the current security environment, it is essential that all countries stand firmly with Ukraine and uphold its right to defend its sovereignty and freedom. The future of Europe’s security and stability depends on our unity and resolve,’ reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
