Prime Minister sends greetings to Romania on Great Union Day
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, has sent greetings to the people of Romania celebrating Great Union Day.
‘Lithuania and Romania enjoy close and trusted cooperation, both bilaterally and as partners within the European Union and NATO. Lithuania is very grateful for Romania's active contribution to regional security, including its participation in the Baltic Air Policing mission in Šiauliai. In today's challenging security environment, our unity and determination remain essential.
Romania's consistent alignment with EU and NATO priorities, as well as its firm support for Ukraine's sovereignty and its struggle against Russia's aggression, reflect responsible leadership at a time when democratic nations must stand together. Our joint efforts contribute directly to the security and stability of our region and our Alliance,’ reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
