Prime Minister wishes Cyprus a happy 61st anniversary of independence
On behalf of the Government of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė extends sincere greetings to the Republic of Cyprus on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of independence.
‘I am pleased to take this opportunity to express Lithuania’s high appreciation of the friendly relations with Cyprus. I trust that our countries will continue working together while strengthening our bilateral relations and partnership within the European Union, based on shared values and economic, cultural, and people-to-people contacts. The solidary and close cooperation is even more essential in countering the traditional and hybrid challenges facing Europe today,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
