Prime Minister wishes Hungary a happy National Day
On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė extends sincere greetings to Hungary on the occasion of the National Day of Hungary, Saint Stephen’s Day.
‘I am pleased to take this opportunity to express Lithuania’s appreciation of the close partnership with Hungary in the European Union and NATO, and other international organisations. We are thankful for Hungary’s contribution to the Air Policing Mission, and very much welcome your decision to participate in the Mission again in 2022. In the face of turbulent international situation, our shared commitment to transatlantic and European unity is more important than ever. I am confident that the close relationship between our countries and people will positively contribute to addressing challenges we face today,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
