Prime Minister wishes Spain a happy National Day
On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė extends sincere greetings to Spain on the National Day of Spain, the Hispanic Day.
‘I highly value the friendship between our countries and close cooperation in the EU, NATO, and other international organizations. Spain’s contribution to the Air Policing Mission and to NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic states is very important in strengthening the security of our region and of the entire Europe. I trust that our countries will continue working together while strengthening our bilateral relations based on shared values and economic, cultural, and people-to-people contacts. The solidary and close cooperation is even more essential in countering the traditional and hybrid challenges facing Europe today,’ reads the Prime Minister’s letter.
