Prime Minister’s greetings to Czech Republic celebrating its National Day
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė is sending a message of greetings on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania to Czech Republic celebrating its National Day.
‘This occasion reminds us of the values that unite our nations – freedom, democracy, and the determination of our peoples to stand up for their independence.
Lithuania deeply values the spirit of solidarity and cooperation that defines our relations, both bilaterally and within the European Union and NATO.
At a time when Europe faces major security, social, and economic challenges, our unity and shared responsibility are more important than ever.
We highly appreciate the Czech Republic’s contribution to NATO’s presence in the Baltic States and your strong, principled support for Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and justice.
These efforts strengthen not only our region’s security but also the foundations of a fair and peaceful Europe.
I am confident that cooperation between Lithuania and the Czech Republic will continue to grow – fostering innovation, sustainable development, and closer people-to-people ties.
Together, we can build a Europe that is not only safe and resilient, but also inclusive and just for all its citizens’, reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
