Prime Minister’s greetings to Italy celebrating Republic Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania to Italy on the occasion of Festa della Repubblica, the Republic Day of Italy.
‘I highly value the friendship between our countries and close cooperation in the EU, NATO, and other international organizations. Italy's contribution to the Air Policing Mission and to NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic States is very important in strengthening the security of our region and beyond.
We stand firmly together in strengthening the principles of freedom, democracy, and peace. I believe that our countries will keep showing solidarity and steadfast support to Ukraine and its people, as they fight for their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and freedom of Europe,’ reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
