Prime Minister’s greetings to Korea celebrating its National Day

On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has greeted Korea on its National Liberation Day and sent the best wishes for prosperity of the country.

‘Lithuania highly values the friendly relations between our countries. I am looking forward to further strengthening the amicable dialogue and successful cooperation between our countries for the mutual benefit of our nations and people. Lithuania places a high priority on enhancing ties with Korea and other nations in the lndo-Pacific region, particularly in the economic sphere and with a distinct emphasis on innovations and high value-added sectors.

Cooperation among like-minded countries in the face of the current global and geopolitical challenges is of utmost importance. As Russia continues its brutal war against Ukraine, it is critical for the entire democratic world to remain united and increase our further support to Ukraine till its victory and beyond,’ reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
