Prime Minister’s greetings to Montenegro celebrating its Statehood Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has extended greetings, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, to the people of Montenegro celebrating the Statehood Day.
‘I appreciate that Lithuania and Montenegro share the same European values and are close allies in NATO. The Lithuanian Government is a firm supporter of EU’s open-door policy and stands ready to assist Montenegro in its accession negotiations with the EU. Closer cultural ties between our nations and growing economic cooperation will further strengthen the friendly relations between our two countries’, reads Prime Minister’s letter.
