Prime Minister’s greetings to Spain celebrating its National Day

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has extended warm greetings to the people of the Kingdom of Spain on the occasion of the National Day.

‘I highly value the centennial of cooperative relationship between our countries and partnership in the EU, NATO, and other international organizations. Spain’s contribution to the Air Policing Mission and to NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic States is very important in strengthening the security of our region and of whole Europe.

Our continued unity in supporting Ukraine is very important, as we seek sustainable peace. I believe that by acting together, we will help to preserve the main values of today’s world – freedom and democracy. Our consistent position in strengthening sanctions against Russia and Belarus is important to show that Europe will not cave in to aggressor’s blacmailing and will stand up for its values’, reads Prime Minister‘s letter of greetings.
