The Prime Minister congratulated Spain on National Day
Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė conveyed her congratulations to Spain on National Day on behalf of the Government of Lithuania and the Lithuanian people.
“l express Lithuania's high appreciation of the friendly relations with Spain and of our joint work in the European Union, NATO and other international organizations. Let me congratulate you on the successfully ongoing Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union at a particularly difficult time and with a challenging agenda.
l am certain that, as like minded countries we will continue working together to strengthen our bilateral ties and rules-based international order. Our solidary and close cooperation have never been more critical in countering the challenges that democracies face today,” states the greeting from the Head of the Government.
