The Prime Minister congratulated the Netherlands on King’s Day
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, warmly congratulated the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on King’s Day and wished the country prosperity, unity, and well-being.
“Lithuania highly values the strong and trusted partnership between our countries. We appreciate the Netherlands' contribution to strengthening NATO's eastern flank and regional security, as a clear expression of Allied solidarity.
As we continue our cooperation within NATO and the European Union, l am confident that our joint efforts will further strengthen our security and resilience. ln the current geopolitical environment, unity among Allies remains essential
Lithuania also looks forward to deepening bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas, including defence, innovation, energy resilience, and the green transition, as well as strengthening people-to-people ties between our nations.
At a time of growing challenges to global and European security, it is vital that we remain united in our support for Ukraine. Lithuania greatly values the Netherlands' firm commitment to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and freedom,” the Government Head’s message stated.
