‘It is with profound shock and deep sadness that I learned about the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
On behalf of the Government and people of Lithuania, I express my sincere condolences to Mr. Shinzo Abe’s family and friends, and to all the people of Japan as you mourn such a devastating loss. His assassination shocked Japan, and the whole world. We lost a true leader and a champion of democracy.
