Prime Minister sends Independence Day greetings to Poland
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė, on behalf of the Government, has sent sincere greetings to all the people of Poland on the occasion of Independence Day, wishing them unity, concord, and prosperity.
“We deeply value the close partnership between Lithuania and Poland, which rests on shared principles, a common historical experience, and a firm commitment to defending freedom and democracy. Our friendship is strong because both our nations recognize that peace and stability in Europe depend on our ability to stand together and uphold these values.
I am confident that Lithuania and Poland will continue to work closely to strengthen regional security, invest in defence capabilities, and consistently support the people of Ukraine in their efforts to defend their independence and territorial integrity. Our joint efforts not only reinforce the security of our own states but also contribute to the consolidation of a global environment that respects democracy and the rule of law.
What bonds Lithuania and Poland is not only a set of common interests, but also a genuine spirit of good neighbourliness, mutual trust, and shared responsibility for the security of our region and the future of Europe. I trust that we will continue to foster these strong ties, acting together to build a safe, peaceful, and democratic Europe,” reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
